ECO MODA PARADE by Tudor Daniela
Our class 3D, from School No 12, Buzau organized an activity in order to show people that
• there are lots of materials which can be reused such as: paper, glass, plastic, metal.
• how can reuse recycling materials,
• reusing materials we can save the nature
• children are the next generation – they protest to have a normal, clean place to live
• we can reduce, reuse, recycling for the future
The parade consists of children dressed up in recycling materials.
First there was a contest called MISS ECO MODA&MISTER ECO MODA, where a girl and a boy were awarded for the most beautiful costume.
The children made their costumes by themselves. They used wrapping materials, plastic bottles, plastic glasses, paper, cans, beer caps, carton boxes, magazines, newspapers.
The aims were :
1. to understand the importance of reducing, reusing, recycling
2. to make a costume using recycling materials
3. to develop practical skills
4. to learn how to make a presentation
5. to make badges with eco slogans and spread them to people on the streets.
The benefits we are target are:
- the children use and reuse materials from their household
- they understand the importance of keeping the planet clean and clear
- they learn to protest for their rights when it is necessary
- they learn to present their produces
- communication between children and community
